Bird’s family run business can be traced back over 110 years to J.W. Bird Haulage, a trading name retained by the company to the present day.

Bird’s Groupage Service Limited was formed in 1972; this was the platform for what  is today’s company operating from four locations in the U.K. and Ireland.

The company continues to retain its family values as part of the day to day running without hindering the progressive nature of the business. This has enabled Bird’s to maintain its impressive and well respected position within the industry – here and abroad – and with a customer base that includes many blue chip organisations.
